# Install an App from the FLECS Marketplace

## Prerequisites

Before installing an app, ensure your device has an **active license**.

**🔍 How to check:**

1. In the sidebar, navigate to **System**.
2. Verify that your device is **activated**.
3. If not, [activate your device license](https://docs.flecs.tech/product-docs/flecs-core/license-activation).

## Browse and Find Your App

1. From the sidebar menu, select **Marketplace** to access the FLECS Marketplace.
2. Explore available apps or use the **search and filter tools** for a targeted search.

### **Filter Options**

* **🔍 Search by Name**: Enter the app’s name in the search field.
* **✅ Availability Filter**: Enable **Show Available Apps Only** to display apps you can install.
* **📂 Category Filter**: Choose a category to narrow down results.
* **⚙️ Advanced Filters**: Click the **Filter** button to access more options.

## Install the App

1. Click on the app you want to install.
2. Select the **version** you require.
3. Click **Install**.

**💡 Tip:**\
You can safely close your browser window during the installation process. FLECS will continue installing in the background.

**🔄 Monitor Progress:**

* Go to **Installation Status** to track the download and setup.

## Launch Your Installed App

After installation:

1. Navigate to the **Apps** section in the sidebar.
2. Your new app will appear here.
